Design system

When MFS Africa rebranded to Onafriq, I co-led the design system work behind it, rebuilding the component library and visual language so every product, from the consumer app to the SME tools, could carry the new identity consistently instead of patching it on screen by screen.

Beyond the product components, I produced the marketing assets that carried the rebrand across social channels, which helped lift engagement during the transition.

KYC and KYB redesign

I redesigned the KYC and KYB flows for Beyonic, Onafriq's SME-facing product, on a network serving 500M+ users. Using FullStory session recordings and customer care data, I traced where verification was breaking down and where legitimate businesses were getting stuck or dropping off.

The redesign drove a 38% reduction in fraud threats and lifted daily account approvals to 150+, without adding friction for businesses trying to verify legitimately.

Team invitations and transaction reviews

SME accounts on Beyonic are rarely run by one person, so I designed the flow for inviting teammates by email straight from the Users tab, with pending invitations tracked alongside active members so an owner can see who has access at a glance and cancel an invite if needed.

In this first version, invited teammates can view transactions and wallet balance, a deliberately scoped-down permission set built to extend into fuller roles, like adding or approving transactions, as the feature matures.
